Nucleus Network will be taking first-in-human (FIH) clinical trials to the next level in 2024 with the recent announcement of its Australian Eastern Seaboard expansion into New South Wales. The addition of the new 70-bed facility in Sydney’s NorthShore Health Precinct, together with expanded Melbourne operations and existing Brisbane and Minneapolis facilities, will see Nucleus Network increase its global bed capacity by almost 40%. Expected to open in Q4 of 2024, the addition of the Sydney clinic, together with expanded Victorian operations in Melbourne and Geelong, and existing Brisbane and Minneapolis facilities is expected to allow the commencement of at least 40 more studies each year, increasing Nucleus Network’s global FIH clinical trial capacity across its sites. Important milestone for our company as we announced early completion of enrollment in LunAIRo, Apnimed’s Phase 3 #OSA #clinicaltrial examining the efficacy and safety of AD109 compared to placebo at six-months and one-year. We believe AD109 has the potential to be the first nighttime oral pharmacologic treatment for people with obstructive #sleepapnea who are either intolerant of, or refuse to use, positive airway pressure therapy. We want to thank the patients who volunteered to participate in this study, extend our gratitude to the investigators for their support and give a shout out to our amazing clinical and medical colleagues who made this important step possible. At the American Thoracic Society Conference 2024, 35Pharma will present an engaging oral session titled “6036 – HS135, A Novel Activin and GDF Trap, Is Highly Efficacious in Models of Group 1 and Group 2 Pulmonary Hypertension (PH)” on May 19 at the San Diego Convention Center. This presentation will delve into the preclinical data of HS135 and feature insights on the company’s Phase I novel Activin and GDF inhibitor in models of Pulmonary Hypertension. The forthcoming Phase I clinical trial will be a single-center, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study conducted in healthy postmenopausal women.
