The Financial Services sector is undergoing rapid digital transformation, which is driving the need for greater efficiency and innovation. New York led in job postings recorded since 2021 with a 4% increase since 2019, followed by Charlotte and Chicago. The metro areas benefitting from the greatest talent demand are New York, Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago, Charlotte, and Philadelphia. Cities that recorded the most growth in job postings since 2019 include Plano, TX (+84%), Irving, TX (+75.9%), and Tampa, FL (+64.5%).

The opportunity: Around $84B of wealth transfer is predicted to change hands in the next two decades and with that data, access to private capital is deemed to attract HNWI. & that's why asset allocation, and knowing how to deal with multiple asset classes is becoming part of the hiring process for a lot of AM/Fund Lawyers who choose to join an RIA/Private Wealth Solution. You're local well known lawyer is probably going to be more than enough if you own a landscaping company vs finding a Chief Legal Officer at Goldman Sachs. Knowing what you can't hire or can't compete for can help cut down on being picky.
