Different audiences, different approaches—right? Not quite. A recent survey from Digital Commerce 360 Research reveals sellers on both B2C and B2B platforms face similar hurdles, boiling down to one thing: their experience. While B2C platforms already offer multiple payment options, B2B sellers still face challenges: not offering flexible payment terms can cost them business and revenue, but late payments might drive them away. Payments alone won't solve all B2B platform challenges. ✅ B2B commerce request quote flow Built all the independent blocks & great to see it work seamlessly end to end once they were connected. In this video you'll see: - Add items to cart (thanks to Victor Gerbrands) - Request quote for cart - Quote lifecycle between merchant & customer - Messages between merchant & customer - Picking a cart item to negotiate - Merchant updates price of item - Converting a quote to an order Everything you see here was built in 2 weeks & is easily customisable to your business needs. We re-used most of the commerce blocks provided by Medusa and used this as an opportunity to dog-food the platform ourselves. We've already fixed a lot of friction points and identified more improvements to make to make the developer experience as smooth as possible. 📈 Massive kudos to Adrien de Peretti, Carlos Rodrigues & Harminder Virk for jumping on issues I've bombarded them with! 💪
