So refreshing to hear such a positive and progressive story about what education could be from The Manchester Metropolitan University and their Innovation and Teaching Excellence Learning Lab (I-TELL) - the art of the possible! Checkout the event happening tonight =): https://lu.ma/awhvzbiv McMaster Creates is a 6-week program where students join with an idea (or not!) and over the span of the program we help them develop and bring that idea to reality. The program invites 10 main topics: Week 1: Idea 💡 Week 2: Toy-Version 🪀 Week 3: Feedback 📝 Week 4: Iterate + Feedback 👷♂️ Week 5: User + Growth 👤 Week 6: Demo Day + Final Presentation 🎁 We hold 1 lecture and 1 lab every week (we are still deciding on whether asynchronous or synchronous is best). Participants fill out a form elaborating on their progress for the week. At week 3/6 we pair the students with a mentor (if applicable and available) At 4/6 they graduate. tldr; We really just want to support students building what they love, and become successful doing that.

So, you have an interactive flat panel, but can you move it ❓ By exploring such possibilities and incorporating universal design principles, educational institutions can create more inclusive and engaging learning environments that cater to diverse needs and preferences. Ultimately, the goal should be to foster an atmosphere where students feel empowered, motivated, and able to participate actively in their learning journey. 💡

It's now been a whole year since I started managing BCU's presence on The Student Room Group and safe to say, it's been a hugely successful year! Thanks to the Student Reps Anastasia B. Emily Brookes and Megat Danish Isharuddin who work hard replying to users on the platform, our March report shows that: ⭐ Our Official Reps posts were viewed a huge 11,300 times, which is a 640% increase on March last year. ⭐ We posted 75 times! On average, other universities are posting 30-40 times per month. ⭐ This time last year our TSR audience share was 0.099%, it is now 0.51%, showing a 415% increase YOY. ⭐ Our Rep Post interactions are at an all-time high at 61 interactions, a 663% increase on last March. When I started managing the platform I never imagined we'd see these numbers, gain valuable insight and help thousands of students through The Student Room! I can't wait to see what the next year on TSR holds ⭐
