Well, as some of you know, PETRA III is offline now while a machine vacuum leak is being fixed. Virtual motors are the first to try out on our side, GUI applications come next. Here is the test video demonstrating simultaneous movement of X-ray slits from JJ X-ray as a response to our commands passed to the virtual motors. Finally solved the 'trigger on non bat sounds' problem I was having - too many defences against non-ultrasound triggers already in place that needed workarounds! Here a 48kHz wav examined in Kaleidoscope, which seems confused about sample rate (or maybe my wav file is a mess?!) but you can see strong Noctules up approaching Nyquist, no indications of alias energy wrapping round, and The Cramps in full flight down in the 'normal' regions. This captured from a 220ohm pippyg powered by USB, need to retry with batteries to see how things clean up. This now has 8 chained 1st order low-pass filter (leaky integrators) with a corner frequency of 22.5kHz.
