Over the past few months, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to shadow Mr. Clifford Amos, PA, at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. This hands-on experience significantly deepened my understanding of dermatological care and patient management, allowing me to observe and assist in a range of procedures and treatments. I witnessed many approaches to cases such as basal cell carcinoma removal, cyst extraction, and mole and wart removals. I also gained valuable insights into managing chronic skin conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo, and severe acne, through various treatments such as laser therapy, topical medications, and biologic treatments. A key takeaway from this experience is the importance of paying attention to "something new that doesn’t go away or something old that has changed" - Mr. Clifford Amos, PA. I am grateful for Mr. Amos and the entire team at Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery for their guidance and support.
