Treatment options for head and neck cancers depend on the cancer’s location, stage, and the patient’s overall health. Here are some common treatment approaches: Surgery: Removing the cancerous tissue. Radiation Therapy uses high-energy beams to kill cancer cells. It is usually used after surgery for advanced-stage cancers.  Chemotherapy: uses drugs to kill cancer cells. It can be used alone or in combination with other treatments. It is usually used after surgery and in combination with radiation therapy in advanced-sage cancers.  Immunotherapy: This modality helps the immune system fight cancer and is often used for advanced cases. Although it shows great promise, it is currently reserved for patients with recurrent or non-salvageable disease.  Combination Therapy: A combination of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy to increase effectiveness. Supportive Care: Nutritional support, speech therapy, and pain management to help cope with treatment side effects. 💬 Which treatment option are you most curious about?
