OCCF recently hosted an enlightening event titled "Impactful Giving: Research & Findings on MacKenzie Scott’s Unrestricted Gifts," where Dr. Elisha Smith Arrillaga from The Center for Effective Philanthropy shared her valuable insights on MacKenzie Scott’s granting. Our Family Foundation Alliance members learned some valuable takeaways including the benefits of unrestricted funding and the importance of balancing trust-based philanthropy with accountability. 🎉 This Hispanic Heritage Month, we proudly celebrate the rich culture, resilience, and invaluable contributions of the Latino community. At OCCF, we are deeply honored to collaborate with dedicated partners and donors who share our commitment to advancing equity and creating meaningful opportunities for all. As part of our celebration, we want to highlight The Hispanic Education Endowment Fund (HEEF). In 1994, OCCF and a group of passionate community leaders joined forces to found HEEF to help Hispanic youth fulfill their dreams of higher education.
