Want to grow your community? Start here. After 2 years of building community at the D2 collective and being asked "what makes it special", I've boiled it down to 5 key principles. The 5 V's of Community-Led Growth. It's not rocket science, but it works. Here's the simple breakdown: Vision ➡ Know your 'why' Validate ➡ Listen to your people and reiterate accordingly Vitalize ➡ Cultivate a Habit Vest ➡ Give members ownership Verify ➡ Build trust through authenticity

To identify your values, examine the decisions that you make. If you find yourself always hosting events then you value community. If you can't work in a noisy environment then you value order. If you find yourself unwilling to break any rules then you probably value discipline.

We can't always avoid negative comments, but we can manage our responses! Let's encourage one another and foster positive dialogue both online and offline. Share this post to cultivate a more positive community!
