🚀 Exciting Developments in 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks! 🌐📡 Satellites can enhance 5G networks by solving coverage and challenging use cases beyond ground-based infrastructure. The use of NTN technology has numerous potential use-cases for IoT applications, which can be served from both Low Earth Orbit (LEO) or Geostationary (GEO) satellites, particularly in remote and hard-to-reach areas. It excites me to see how these satellite-powered networks can break barriers, expand coverage, and bring high-speed wireless access to even the most remote places. The way we stay connected keeps on transforming! #5G

📢📺If you missed yesterday's live event you can watch it at your leisure 👇 https://lnkd.in/d-Ph2bxG. Substantial parts of the world rely on satellite connectivity because there is no terrestrial infrastructure in place. New business models demonstrate increased cross-industry collaboration – not only with satellite providers in all orbits (GSO/NGSOs), but also with terrestrial operators, which will expand with the integration of NTN & TN, especially crucial given the increased IoT services and innovations such as Satellite Direct-to-Device. Ultimately, the best solutions are found in combining the strengths of several technologies to lower costs while providing stronger resilience and more access to a far larger number of users around the world. Thank you to Toby Robinson, Alex Wong, Jorge Rodríguez López, Isabelle Mauro, Dimitri Buchs, Emeline Bardoux, Marco Garcia, Lucy Henry, Iñaki Latasa Errecart, Molly Stewart, International Telecommunication Union, Euroconsult, Avanti Communications, Hispasat. #satellite4life #digitaldivide #digitaltransformation #satelite

Three years have flown by.🚀Among other achievements, we launched 5 satellites, prepared 4 more for launch, expanded our ground station network to 7 ground station, applied 23 patents, developed 5 utility models, and finalized numerous agreements and PoCs.✌🏻We set many ambitious goals for these three years and achieved them all. This year, we are stepping into a new era with our IoT connectivity service through the "Connecta IoT Network" and planning for future innovations. In our 4th year, we will advance our space journey with 16 "Connecta IoT Network" satellites and the "Observa" Earth Observation satellite.🛰🛰 We couldn't be more excited about what's ahead.💫 #WeArePlanS #PlanS #birthday
