Manufacturing is a vital economic sector in the United States, which world's second-largest manufacturer after China. The stage has been set for a manufacturing resurgence in the United States. This requires attracting Millennials (born between 1981 and 1996) and Gen Z (born after 1997) to Manufacturing as they are the future of the manufacturing workforce. To attract younger talent, manufacturers must adapt their workplace culture and employee benefits to align with the preferences of these generations. One area that has gained significant traction is the adoption of on-demand pay solutions, which cater to the desire for flexibility and immediate access to earned wages (#ewa) provided by likes of OrbisPay with no frill and gimmicks.
