Starting a new chapter. Entrepreneurship and working with great people have always been important to me, and I am excited to do so while developing an innovative controls platform being applied to a wide variety of machines and processes.
"It has been a long, nearly 20-year, journey to get to this point & I couldn't be more excited to start this venture with a team of highly talented and honorable people! I've learned a lot throughout my career working in the Industrial Refrigeration industry - one that I knew nothing about coming out of college in 2005, except many great people telling me that you can get sucked in and never get out! 😁 I'm still here and with our team, have developed some products - Sentry Compressor Controller & Sentinel Vibration Monitoring System as a start with much more planned to come soon!" - Matt Barley - President

When describing my forklift operator role in my CV: "As a field engineer specializing in the transportation of heavy payloads, I've dedicated my career to optimizing the efficiency of industrial operations. My primary tool, the multidirectional forklift, is a marvel of engineering, capable of exerting significant torque while maintaining remarkable maneuverability. I've conducted numerous studies on the optimal load distribution for various cargo types, ensuring that each pallet is balanced with precision to prevent instability. Moreover, I've developed innovative techniques for navigating tight spaces and avoiding collisions, minimizing the risk of workplace accidents. My work is rooted in a deep understanding of physics, mechanics, and human ergonomics, and I'm constantly seeking new ways to enhance the safety and productivity of the industrial environment."

Have you ever wondered what all those markings and lights on a runway mean? 🛫 Each one plays a key role in ensuring safe takeoffs and landings. Let’s break it down: ➡ Blast Pad - These are safety zones near runways and helipads to protect areas from aircraft turbulence during takeoff and landing. ➡ Threshold - This is the starting point for landings and takeoffs. It helps pilots line up correctly as they approach or depart. ➡ Landing Designator - These markings help pilots with precise landings, giving them essential visual cues. ➡ Edge Markings - These define the borders of the runway, guiding pilots to stay within the safe area while maneuvering. ➡ Touchdown Zone Markings - They help pilots aim for the best spot to land, improving accuracy. ➡ Aiming Point - This indicates the ideal spot on the runway for landing, aiding pilots in making a precise touchdown. ➡ Centerline - This guides aircraft to stay centered on the runway during takeoff and landing, ensuring proper alignment. What’s the most interesting thing you’ve learned about runways, or do you have any unique experiences related to them? Share your thoughts and stories below! ✈️
