It’s one thing to bootstrap a company. It’s another to find longevity in success. After having celebrated our 10th anniversary earlier this year, July marked Orbit’s most successful month ever with no less than 17 transactions closed by our clients with our support during that same month. This is close to $20 billion of Enterprise Value transacted with Orbit’s involvement, both in Europe, the US and APAC. We are obviously proud, but mainly very grateful for the trust that some of the very best investors out there put in our ability to help them win. We are also very thankful for all the hard work, passion and dedication our teams are investing every day to continuously make our product more impactful. Over the past 10+ years, we have remained laser-focused on our mission to help the best industry advisors partner with the best investors. We have made many radical decisions, including never giving up the exclusivity of our support to one fund only per deal, aligning our rewards with what we know will allow us to consistently offer the best service to our clients, and not getting distracted by competition but remaining fully focused on our product and the clients who value it. We have started Orbit with the hope to build a high quality, reliable and free organisation that would deliver superior value to all its stakeholders over the long run. July only reinforced these convictions and we are better armed than ever to continue delivering superior quality to both our clients and our industry advisors. You can count on us. Happy summer.

Twenty years ago, Clear Space was born. Some might see this marker as an extraordinary achievement. But in the grand universe of things, it’s merely a blip. It's nothing really. And yet, in our world, nothing is everything. Nothing is the ethos that has always guided us. From our humble beginnings to now navigating a remote world post-pandemic, we’ve always thrived on the absence of excess. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a French writer, poet, and aviator once said, "A designer knows they have achieved perfection, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing more to take away." This belief has propelled our creative way for two decades. And we remain unwavering in this path. No ego. No bullshit. Say less. Listen more. Observe. Understand. We’ve crafted remarkable work, branded leading organizations, spearheaded campaigns, and forged lasting bonds with clients who’ve become cherished friends. On our 20th anniversary, what we reflect on are not the things that we have accrued, but all the invaluable relationships and experiences that have shaped us. To all who’ve been on this journey – employees, partners, clients and friends – thank you. Here’s to the next 20 years of proving that when you start with nothing, everything is possible.

We just returned from an epic six-day family vacation in Hawaii, but it didn’t begin like a typical trip. The kids and I had the honor of attending the Decommissioning Ceremony for the USS Antietam, the ship my husband captained. During the ceremony, my husband gave an incredible speech (though I might be biased!), adapting Theodore Roosevelt’s "Man in the Arena" speech to honor the crew and the ship. As he spoke about their challenges and triumphs, I found myself reflecting on how we, too, show up every day — in work and in life. Here are a few key takeaways that stuck with me: • Leadership is about showing up: Whether leading a ship, a team, or a family, it’s about being fully present and doing the hard work, even when no one’s watching. • Balance matters: Tough decisions — like our family staying in California while my husband deployed from Japan to Hawaii — shape our path and growth. • Honor the journey: Just as my husband honored his ship and crew’s legacy, we should reflect on the people and experiences that shape who we are. This was a milestone moment for our family, and a huge career achievement for my husband. He’s always believed leadership is about making those around him stronger and better — because their #1 job is to ensure safety. It really puts the impact of leadership into perspective. While I may not deal with life-or-death situations daily, I look for meaningful impact every day. Last week, I worked with an organization bringing life-saving drugs to heart surgeons. This week, I’m speaking with a Chief Medical Officer revolutionizing cancer treatment. I’m helping them hire the best talent and ensure they’re set up for success in their new roles. These are big deal moments, and I challenge myself to think about how I bring the best of my expertise and leadership to make those around me better — whether through our services, talent products, or improving hiring processes. It might not be life or death, but it’s someone’s life. And I want to make it better. What are your big deal moments, and how does your leadership adapt to them? #leadership #leadershipandgrowth #lifechanging #navyleadership #talentanddevelopment

This week, we stepped back from operating at "120% capacity" to refuel, recharge, and realign at a company retreat. This retreat gave us the chance to pause, refresh our vision, and ensure we’re all moving in the same direction. Whether it was an insightful speech, a compelling story, or simply being truly heard, I believe everyone was inspired by at least one moment this weekend. Here are a couple of insightful takeaways I learned from our co-founders that I believe could benefit anyone in a similar position: 📈 Success is often built through small but consistent steps (1% better every day). 🔧 Complex problems—even conflicts in tech startups—always come with multiple variations and limitations. To solve them, you need to find a middle ground that everyone believes in, and then focus on improving 1-2 key tasks at a time, with 100% effort. 🌍 I was deeply impressed by how well our work at SOCRadar resonates globally. It is incredible how human capital can become the luck and resource that drives success, especially when resources are limited. And here is our team joyful and ready to tackle what’s next. Full speed ahead. See you at the finish line!

There is just something about being 550 feet above ground that forces a different perspective. Last week we enjoyed some vacation time in Nevada and Arizona and on our last night, we did a nighttime ride on The High roller; Vegas' version of an enclosed observation wheel that towers above the city, making it the largest observation wheel in North America. For a girl that is terrified of heights, I absolutely love Ferris wheels and observation wheels. As we slowly climbed to the top,I was fascinated by the sight of the city and how different everything appears from that height. The hustle and bustle of people everywhere, the commotion and sound of traffic and horns, it all disappeared. It felt like we were looking at the inside of a snow globe with the most beautiful and electric lights. And then I saw it. Bright, bold and perfectly illuminated, "CVS", and I giggled to myself as it all came together in my mind. Perspective is a dynamic force, evolving with the passage of time, the accumulation of knowledge or in this case, a totally different vantage point. In that moment I realized I had officially been on #teamcvs for 3 months. I became overwhelmed with a feeling of gratitude for what these three months have brought me as I stared at these bright, electric three letters, that to anyone else on that wheel, may have just been a sign but to me it also served as a sign and a powerful reminder. As we learn, grow, and experience life, our understanding of the world around us deepens, allowing us to see things from different angles and appreciate complexities previously unnoticed. This shifting perspective creates an entirely new space within us; one where we can create with newfound insight, lead with wisdom gained from experience, love with a deeper understanding of ourselves and others, and engage with the world in more meaningful and impactful ways. It’s through this continual evolution of perspective that we unlock the potential to constantly reinvent ourselves and our contributions to the world. This shift is a catalyst for immense good, not just for ourselves but also for the teams and communities whom we serve. By embracing different viewpoints and being open-minded, we cultivate a growth mindset that fuels innovation, fosters collaboration, and promotes empathy. Ultimately, it is through this continual evolution of perspective and a commitment to understanding diverse viewpoints that we can create meaningful change and contribute to a better future for everyone. What a powerful ride that turned out to be and what an incredibly powerful 3 months I have had. It's all about perspective and I'm so thankful to have had mine challenged and to have trusted my heart on this giant leap of faith. One large leap of faith has turned out to be an incredible step in the right direction, with an organization that I am so proud to be a part of, and that my friends, is one huge blessing. Trust your gut.Take the ride.Challenge your perspective.❤️
