#ORR’s fully funded, 7060m Phase 5 drill programme is ongoing at the Bakassi Zone 1 (BZ1) prospect, part of the Bibemi Gold Project in #Cameroon To date, 10 vertical holes have been drilled for approximately 1,244 metres at the main BZ1 MRE area. Samples from these holes are being prepared, with initial results expected in Q3-2024. Intersections of shallow-dipping and steeply dipping quartz and quartz-tourmaline veins show the potential for additional near-surface mineralisation within the existing open pit design limits. A further 27 holes have been planned at BZ1-MRE, focussed on expanding and upgrading the existing MRE. 25 holes are also planned at along-strike target areas BZ1-NE and BZ1-SW, where exploration to date has generated coincident geochemical and geophysical targets. #ORR has submitted an exploitation licence application (ELA) to the Cameroon Mines Ministry for review. The ELA, which is supported by various technical and economic studies, is required to secure the tenure of the licence as exploration and development activities continue.

Did you know that our project in the Kimberley, Tarraji-Yampi, has been locked up as a Defence Reserve since 1978? Tarraji-Yampi offers a unique opportunity with visible mineral deposits and historic workings from the early 1900s, yet has seen no recent exploration. In fact, Dreadnought is the first to deploy modern geochemical and geophysical techniques to explore for mineralisation under shallow cover in the region. In 2021, Dreadnought discovered the Orion Cu-Au massive sulphides as part of its first exploration drilling program. To further explore the area's potential, we recently commenced drilling, which should be completed by mid-July. Read more about our drilling program here: https://lnkd.in/g8xMh_Y7.

Standard Uranium's inaugural winter 2024 drill program at the Atlantic Project in Saskatchewan has yielded promising results, with significant uranium mineralization confirmed across multiple drill holes. The findings, including highly anomalous uranium in holes ATL-24-002, ATL-24-004A, and ATL-24-005A, align with prospective structural zones and favorable alterations, indicating the presence of a uranium-fertile system. Vice President of Exploration Sean Hillacre expressed optimism about the substantial discovery potential along the untested portions of the east-west conductor system. 'The company is planning supplementary geophysical surveys over the central claim blocks, which will provide additional target areas for phases II and III of the drilling program,' Hillacre stated. These positive results reinforce the Atlantic Project's strategic importance in Standard Uranium's portfolio and lay a strong foundation for future exploration and development activities in this highly prospective region. @standarduranium #uranium #exploration #AtlanticProject

Terra Metals Limited (ASX: #TM1) (“Terra” or “Company”) is pleased to announce further drilling results from the maiden wide-spaced reconnaissance drill program at its Dante Cu-Au-PGE project (“Dante Project”) in the West Musgrave region of Western Australia, including partial drill results from a further 10 drill holes the Dante Reefs discovery and a further 8 drill holes at the Cronus Prospect. Samples remain outstanding across mineralised zones for all 10 holes at Reef 1 South, which are expected to extend the reported basal layer and hanging wall mineralised zones in multiple holes. Managing Director and CEO, Mr Thomas Line, commented: “These results continue to showcase the scale of the Dante Reefs discovery. It’s extremely promising to see the same magmatic copper-PGE sulphide mineralisation already seen at Reef 1 North and Reef 2, at Reef 1 South, 11.2km along strike from the Reef 1 discovery. It is exciting to consider the scale and potential of other outcropping reefs and other interpreted under cover reefs across the Project which remain undrilled. Review of the geochemistry and relogging has indicated that parts of the mineralised zone, including parts of the basal layer were not sampled. The remainder of the interpreted mineralised zones across all 10 holes at Reef 1 South have now been submitted to the lab for assaying. Based on visual observations, several of the mineralised zones reported here are expected to be extended along with some possible new mineralised zones, when further results are received. Further results from Cronus prospect continue to support the prospectivity of the intrusion and its potential for large-scale copper-PGE sulphide discoveries. It’s such a large, mineralised intrusion and the geochemistry and stratigraphy is providing strong support and possible vectors for the development of higher-grade copper-PGE sulphides. We look forward to testing some of our developing models at Cronus using funding from the WA Government under the EIS." We are pleased to announce identification of substantial extensions to the known uraniferous Samphire palaeochannel system through the recent acquisition of ground gravity data at the Samphire Uranium Project, near Whyalla, South Australia. Highlights 🔸Recently acquired ground gravity data shows outstanding continuity of the Samphire palaeochannel system by 34 lineal km’s: a 50% increase to the existing 64km of palaeochannel strike length. 🔸Historical drillholes confirm that the extensions to the palaeochannel system contain the same thick sequences of Kanaka Bed sands which host the 17.5Mlb Blackbush Uranium Mineral Resource and Plumbush Uranium Prospect. 🔸Multiple historical drillhole intersections above 250ppm eU₃O₈ cutoff within the extensions confirm that uranium is ubiquitous throughout this regional palaeochannel system. 🔸With this extension, 72% (over 70km) of the prospective areas of the entire Samphire palaeochannel system now remain completely untested by drilling, indicating the significant potential for new discoveries and resource growth in the Project area. The preliminary interpretations from our ground gravity survey across the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee Gold Project within the Yandal Greenstone Belt of Western Austral have been released. The interpretation highlights several new early-stage conceptual targets in an area with limited previous exploration. Key highlights from the interpretation include: > The recognition of a large-scale north plunging Caladan fold, truncated to the south by a newly recognised structure, this structural architecture is similar to some well-known gold districts. It presents a compelling exploration target for the Yandal Team. > Improved geological resolution around the Irulan dolerite/basalt complex, bracketed by a volcano-sedimentary sequence and proximal to major shear zones. This geological setting sharing many similarities to Northern Star's (ASX: NST) Jundee group of deposits. Magnetic surveys are crucial in mineral prospecting as they assist with the following: mapping geological structures, determining depth to basement as well as delineating concentrations of magnetic materials. This is performed by acquiring measurements of the magnetic field strength at a series of different locations over an area of interest. @Geophysics LDA offers you this service for your mineral exploration. Accord us the opportunity of helping you to discover your mineral deposit. mubita.mubita@geophysicslda.com or info@geophysiclda.com #geophysicslda #mineraldeposit #Namibia

Colombia's Caño Limón field, discovered in 1983 and brought online in 1986 by Oxy, extends into Venezuela where it's known as the Guafita field. Located in southwestern Venezuela's Apure state, this cross-border oil region has a long exploration history dating back to 1924. The success of Caño Limón led to renewed interest in the Guafita structure, resulting in the GF-1X discovery well in 1984. The Guafita field sits on the crest of the Arauca arch, separating the Barinas-Apure basin from Colombia's Llanos basin. After two decades of inactivity, geophysical operations restarted in 1979. By 1982, approximately 2,400 km of seismic lines covered the region, paving the way for these discoveries.
