OK, but how does selective amnesia actually look? How does it manifest? Well, it it manifests in so many different ways. But let's talk through some practical examples of selective amnesia memory gaps. Do you have a gap in your memory? Do you experience these kind of gaps in memories? Like you're aware of the event, but there's holes in it. These types of memory gaps that are especially related to specific life events, experiences and example of selective amnesia. How about this one? Selective forgetting. What this basically involves selectively forgetting emotionally distressing or traumatic events. And by the way, this could include even those that have occurred recently.
