This photo was taken during one of our research studies for the Varistem Stemming Plugs in a "simulated" underground environment. Testing included vibration monitoring, noise and visual analysis for energy confinement investigation. The simulated testing of underground Varistem Stemming Plugs resulted from the difficulty of gathering good datasets in the underground mining environment. Team ERG Industrial is actively working on several new projects in the underground space to add some value for our underground mining friends. We're pleased to report a significant new graphite discovery, termed the Black Pearl, located on our recently staked Standard East claim group. Luisa Moreno, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, stated: "We are excited by the discovery of the Black Pearl graphite trend, highlighting the exceptional potential of our Standard East claim group. This initial, cost-effective prospecting program has rapidly identified a priority drilling target, which could greatly enhance our Mineral Resource growth objectives. Our ongoing exploration success strengthens Graphano's position as a potential leading graphite producer and reinforces our competitive edge in the market." Black Pearl Discovery Highlights Discovered by prospecting with subsequent trenching, channel sampling and limited ground electromagnetic (EM) geophysical surveys. 42 channel samples collected within an approximate 1,200 m2 stripped bedrock area averaged 13.2% graphitic carbon (Cg). Channel sample results include 15.1% Cg over 14 metres (m) and 17.9% Cg over 9 m. Grab samples of mineralized bedrock from hand dug trenches 700 metres along trend to the northeast of the discovery stripping area returned grades of 20.1% Cg and 15.6% Cg. The Black Pearl graphite trend has been outlined by prospecting and ground geophysical surveys for an approximate strike length of 1,000 metres and remains open. Ground geophysical EM surveys indicate a wide conductive corridor (75 to 150 metres in width) hosting multiple anomalies associated with graphite mineralization. I am pleased to share the panel presented at the 51st CBG, developed alongside Caio Tavares and Murillo Costa, where we discussed the use of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to aid in mapping LCT-type pegmatites in the Borborema Province. The PCA approach applied to Sentinel-2 multispectral images enabled the identification of subtle spectral variations, helping to accurately delineate pegmatite swarms. This technique proved particularly effective in semi-arid regions, where pegmatites are exposed at the surface. Additionally, we developed a web application that facilitates the visualization and comparison of results, making the analysis more accessible to professionals and researchers focused on mineral exploration. Final assay results from systematic surface geochemical sampling at Trinex Minerals Limited’s Ross Lake Project has confirmed the presence of high grade Lithium mineralisation associated with #spodumene crystals in #Lithium-Caesium-Tantalum pegmatites. Results from rock chip samples taken at Ross Lake include 3.31% Li2O, 2.27% Li2O and 1.84% Li2O from the “Dyke 75” area. Ross Lake will be a prime focus for #drilling in 2024 as #TX3 looks to expand on the early geological understanding gained from the reconnaissance exploration completed in early October 2023. Buxton Resources has reported significant progress in its exploration efforts across multiple projects during FY24. Key highlights include: ➡️ Graphite Bull Project: Significant strides were made, with downstream processing results showcasing potential for natural graphite to be refined for lithium-ion batteries. Bulk concentrate samples exceeded industry benchmarks, making the project an attractive candidate for potential development partners. ➡️ West Kimberley Project (JV with IGO): A notable discovery at the Dogleg prospect, where drill results indicated high-grade nickel sulphides, with further drilling expected in FY25. ➡️ Copper Wolf Project: The first drilling in over 30 years confirmed a large mineralised porphyry Cu-Mo system. ➡️ Narryer Project: High-power Moving Loop Electromagnetic (MLEM) survey results were promising, and follow-up drilling will continue in FY25.
