Addressing the current state of immigration in the United States, it's imperative to recognize that the primary shortfall lies not within city administrations, but with Congress. Cities across the nation are grappling with the consequences of inadequate federal immigration policies, often compensating for the lack of authoritative power in this domain. A significant issue faced by many urban areas isn't the presence of immigrants per se, but rather the complications arising from insufficient work authorization and prolonged processing times. These challenges are further exacerbated in some cities, particularly in red states, due to the practice of busing immigrants into these urban centers. This action adds another layer of complexity to an already intricate situation. The central obstacle in this scenario is not the number of immigrants arriving but the inefficiency and inadequacy of the immigration process itself. Addressing these systemic issues requires a reevaluation and overhaul of current immigration policies at the federal level, ensuring that cities are not left to manage these challenges without appropriate support and authority.

Thank you, Allen Orr, for holding your ground against the very bias joke of a Fox reporter and the non-lawyer Satan professing to be an expert, who by the way is a second generation immigrant. She didn’t even question the Satan once on statements yet attacked Allen full force!!!!What lack of journalistic professionalism, but then again it’s Fox. Rather than offering solutions for an orderly process, they throw out the same non-starters of closing the borders and fear mongering of immigrants destroying the middle class. In fact, immigration created and continues to create the middle class in this country. The problem is Congress’ (and hateful influencers like these people) lack of courage and integrity to legislate a compromised solution.
Frustrating to watch. You’re brave. The point you mentioned that I wish could be emphasized is that almost all asylum seekers would be in and out sooner than 5+ years (and much of the incentive gone) with sufficient immigration courts
Wow! You shared the screen with satan himself? There aren’t many people I consider to be “evil,” but that clown is on the list.
Allen Orr, thank you for trying to interject the facts into this segment. It was a tough task and you were brilliant, despite the smoke and mirrors.
Don’t know how you kept your composure Allen Orr with he who shall not be named screaming into the mike. That was quite unsettling.
Good job at telling the immigration issues on a hostile show. The blatant bias, racism, and xenophobia at FOX is disturbing.
This is quite the image
Sometimes the most important advocacy we do is in enemy territory, just trying to open those minds tiny bit by tiny bit. Keep doing these Fox segments, Allen. You are a warrior.
You are pure class Allen Orr. I deeply admire how you stood up to these appalling people. Thank you.

11moI've always admired your willingness to wander into unfriendly territory and provide the viewers who are open-minded about the pro-immigration perspective.
