Save money on a consultant today, lose a good employee to burnout tomorrow, and then hire a consultant to fix the job anyway. Have you seen this pattern before? There's a massive skills arbitrage opportunity. Salaries in the market seem to be aligned with seniority and not skills. In the last 2 weeks, -> I've spoken to a few M365 Administrators who are drawing a CTC of 24 lakhs (INR) per annum. -> I've also spoken to Power Automate and Sharepoint developers who are drawing a CTC of 6 lakhs (INR) per annum. It doesn't take 2 decades to learn these tools unless you're mentally challenged. So the obsession with years of experience doesn't make any sense to me. If you find really smart talent with about 3 years experience, pay them 12 Lakhs (INR) per annum and you have huge leverage. Win for all parties involved.
