Remember, students with learning differences typically need to use summers to prevent learning loss. When a child has a learning disability such as dyslexia or dyscalculia basic reading and math skills often do not survive a 3 month vacation. It is so important to have a plan maintain those hard-won skills, but it is equally important for children to unwind and have fun. Summer should feel fun and relaxing.
