Now, before anyone loses their minds, I understand this graphic is hyperbolic and my post is not entirely political. As a Libertarian, I see the enigma and taboo of fundraising. It's astonishing how much capital political candidates receive, while school sports programs struggle to scrape by with minimal funds. Capital-based donors seem more inclined to donate to top-down systems, despite complaining about stagnant politics. Yet, youth sports can instigate change with proper guidance. Advocating for the rural Alabama school I work for, a 501(c)3 private school with limited resources, fundraising is essential for athletics. Our program aims to build facilities from scratch, relying solely on fundraising efforts. While some may frown upon youth organizations seeking donations, it's commendable work similar to what political groups do with the exception being the donors can see the change in realtime. #fundraising #varsitysports #Christianschool #boosterclubs #sports #highschool

One week today is Cash for Kids Day and we need YOUR help! Did you know that 2.4 million children recieve free school meals across the UK? There are also around 90 days of school holidays a year where there is a risk that these children could go hungry. We want to make sure these children have enough to eat. Money raised for Cash for Kids Day will help reach out, with fun activities and that important meal during the holidays💚 💚£5.50 could provide drinks, snacks and a meal for one child. 💙£11.95 could provide a one-day experience and a meal for one child. 🧡£51.66 could provide one child with a place at a five-day sports club. If you are in a position to make a donation to our Cash for Kids Day campaign this year please click here- https://lnkd.in/egbF8qnH Or email manchester@cashforkids.org.uk to find out how your company could get involved! Thank you so much for your support, together, we can make a difference to Childrens lives this summer 🧡💚💙 *All donation values, example item prices and example activity costs have been sourced from beneficiaries of recent Cash for Kids grants across the UK. To find out more please email help@cashforkids.org.uk. *

Good morning! Stepping outside of your personal routine and setting time aside to do something good for your local community is always a questionable return value for ourselves. We always wonder if donating our time is 'worth' it and then we are surprised when we learn that donating that time was worth it. Something good always happens and it never comes in a dollar amount. New Jersey United Athletic Club is working to serve the community by launching the Soccer Ball Support Fundraiser. This initiative is working to raise funds in order to purchase new soccer balls for underfunded youth soccer programs. They need all of us to help them spread the word about this initiative and to spread awareness to teams and youth clubs that need the assistance! Ways to help (excluding a donation): 1) Share this post with family, friends & co-workers. 2) Check out https://lnkd.in/dV-tY36t to learn more. 3) Talk to parents, youth sport professionals & any youth soccer coaches about the fundraiser. Youth clubs MUST apply for a free set of soccer balls that will be donated to them. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/dV-tY36t

The analysis of differences in donations to U.S. charitable organizations based on income levels is fascinating. For example, donations to religious causes are more common among low-income earners, but the proportion decreases as income rises. On the other hand, the higher the income, the more donations are directed toward higher education, such as universities. In Japan as well, philanthropic donations to universities seem to be more common among high-income individuals.

I will be participating in the Horse Capital Marathon in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday, April 13th. This will be my 16th marathon and I’m issuing this one as an opportunity to raise money for a young girl from Calgary, Emily, who was born missing her right hand. I’ve know Emily for a few years, through The War Amps, Child Amputee (CHAMP) Program and she is an absolute sweetheart of a kid. A few months ago, I was speaking at Emily’s school and afterwards, she and her mom were telling me about a sports camp in Du Quoin, Illinois that Emily REALLY wants to go to. The camp is put on by NubAbility and they specialize in encouraging youth with various limb differences and amputations to get into mainstream sports. Their summer camps provide inspiration, instruction, and coaching to help get youth out of the bleachers and into sport. If you would like to help get Emily to the NubAbility Athletics sports camp this summer, the link to donate is below. If you’re unable to make a donation, please consider sharing this post to help get it in front of as many people as possible. Thank you so much, in advance, for your support and contribution. #ifican https://lnkd.in/gRfzAegj
