Plans for two new data centres in London’s commuter belt are under review by the Levelling-up Secretary Angela Rayner, aiming to boost data centre job opportunities. These two bids had previously been refused by local authorities but Rayner is set to reopen and reassess both approval processes in order to boost the economy and data centre industry. Matt Vincent has highlighted in his article that there is a current shortage of talent and skilled employees in the data center construction space.
