Everyday medications may not be as harmless as they seem. Our usage of #Paracetamol, a widespread painkiller, is leading to unintended consequences in our oceans. A study, available here: https://lnkd.in/gjGP29Jq, reveals concerning impacts on marine life. #BlueMussels, a key species within marine ecosystems, showed significant stress when exposed to even the smallest concentrations of paracetamol. A rise in concentration further amplified the adverse effects, suggesting an urgent need to reassess our relationship with this common medication. #PharmaceuticalPollution #OceanHealth
