3 years ago, I left my ₦3,000/day contract work. It was very challenging. I didn't know if I should leave. I had no time for growth. I had no time for my health. I had no time to build my future. I was working 14 hours "everyday". I had to leave. I had no job again. I had no community. I had no skill or money. It was either I get a new job or I bet on myself. I chose the latter & decided to learn how to code. I was doing it the wrong way till I met a friend ...and a snr developer on LinkedIn who was a guide Then I started building Frontend projects with React.js Now... I develop enterprise level projects using React. I get to connect with family, friends & community. I work from anywhere I want to and give in my best. My advice? If you want the freedom you desire... ↳ You have to bet on yourself. ↳ Take the risk and step out. → Only you can make this thing work. You might win. I'm rooting for you.❤️ P.S. Tag that 1 person below who has helped you become a better version of yourself. I'm tagging 2 Developers.
📌 Here are 2 Developers that I've met that have helped me become a better me. Amusat Haki Emmanuel Ugbotor Alright guys, your turn, tag at least 1 person, who has helped you in your journey. Let's go 💪💪💪
→ 'Only you can make this thing work.' Right on point boss. 🎯 The more consistent reps you put into your brand &personal growth, the more you grow a strong brand. +No one can or will put in the reps to make it work except YOU. One person has been(& is still instrumental in my growth. You should know who👀 ) Thank you for this my boss Favour Osim 🤗 A happy weekend to you Chief
Your journey is truly inspiring🙌 It’s a great reminder that sometimes we need to bet on ourselves to achieve the freedom we desire. Keep going strong Man💥
Obumuneme Nwabude I am Very grateful to him....
Omo bro. I wish I had one but I have learned to struggle alone Does that mean I haven't been helped by an experienced person in the industry No Once a while I face any bug that I couldn't resolve after many trials I reached out for help and I could count how many times cause I'm not use to asking for help. But I spend more time debugging alone and my best buddy is Chat Gpt.
It takes courage to take a leap of faith and bet on yourself, but the rewards can be extraordinary. Your journey is truly inspiring, and it's a testament to the power of resilience and self-belief. Thank you for sharing your story.
What an inspiring story! It's important to step out of your comfort zone and stretch yourself because there is actually no success in your comfort zone. It's good to play safe, but successful people understand that they need to take some risks to achieve tangible results. Thank you for sharing your story with us, Favour Osim . You just gained a follower.
Most times you may need to step out of your comfort zone to get better results... It will not be convenient but it will definitely be worth it in the long run...
It’s you and yourself against the world So whatever it is you have to do to make you grow, do it

2mo📌 LET'S TALK. Everyone tells you to be consistent. It's NOT easy, especially on LinkedIn. You have to show up & feel like giving up some times AND still show up. I think 1 trait that is now important for me to learn is patience. The ability to put in the reps even when you haven't seen the results. Do you feel this too?
