Has anybody recently created a web user interface to a SaaS, that would not include any indirect connectivity to a network or a device? … I think the answer is no (how would you connect to the SaaS if not via a network…) and consequently SaaS user interfaces (mobile apps, web apps, web pages) and the functionalities that the user interface requires from related SaaS service in the cloud to function (which are designed/modified by SaaS manufacturer) are a ”product with digital elements” and requires CRA CE marking in end of 2027 in order to continue selling new subscriptions to the SaaS.

Critical infrastructure sectors, such as energy, IT, and finance, are essential for national stability. According to Phil Englert of the Health-ISAC, Information Sharing and Analysis Centers for critical infrastructure sectors can play a key role in distributing Software Bill of Materials information across the supply chain to boost transparency. “ISACs, in particular, can be very useful as a distributor of SBOMs. They are a trusted source, and so we want to explore exactly what we could do there,” Englert said in a Wednesday presentation at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s “SBOM-a-Rama” https://lnkd.in/eCdYw_pv #sbom #healthit #medicaldevices
