Unfortunately, I cannot be in every place I want to be at once. Most days, I'm in back to back meetings, talking to members, partners and my team. That means there's a lot of things I can't be present for or participate in That's why I'm loving Otter.ai and OtterPilot. I'm using it for real-time transcription, to summarize meetings, to give me actionable takeaways, to assign tasks, and to automatically integrate all that info into my CRM. Here was the light bulb moment for me. I'm an advisory board member for this incredible nonprofit called 51 Vets. Where we help veterans transition into professional work. Last Friday I wanted to make this big meeting, but I couldn't. Thank god my colleagues let my OtterPilot into the meeting. Because while I was wrapping up my week on Friday afternoon, I got an email from OtterPilot, broken out into key action items, key discussion points, the overall sentiment and tone of the meeting. There's a big fundraiser that 51 Vets is doing that I want to help raise money for, but I wouldn't have had that key information if I hadn't sent my OtterPilot to that meeting. Literally today, I'm going to be asking for my department heads to let my OtterPilot into a couple key weekly meetings. The fact I can now send my OtterPilot to a bunch of different meetings and get real information in a digestible, easy to action way, is a true game changer.
