In times of conflict, it is vital to resist government narratives that fuel division and distract from the real causes of strife. The propaganda and spin that often accompany wartime can blind us to the true drivers of conflict, such as systemic inequalities, political self-interest, and corporate greed. We must remain steadfast in our pursuit of truth and justice, refusing to be swayed by the manipulations of those in power. Only by understanding the complex dynamics at play can we hope to resolve conflicts in a peaceful and sustainable way.

If you chose to be successful. It’s so true that you’d have very few choices to make and you’d be sacrificing almost every single hour and day. But once it becomes a habit - you’d love it to the core. Yes. At times it’s tiring, you’d hate doing it. There would be a ton of things that you don’t like doing but you’d end up doing them if you want to be successful. And success isn’t just a career or a skill thing. It’s the same if you want to be a successful husband/wife, father/mother, sibling, son/daughter, friend, team member - whatever the role you are playing if you want to be successful in that role you need to be grinding and you need to make sacrificing a habit. But only if you are obsessed about success. Else you’d regret doing whatever you do. As many have already said Success doesn’t come easy. Neither does failure. If you don’t attempt to succeed, you’d never get a chance to fail. Hope everyone out there started grinding over the weekend :) Cheers 🍻

Managing Our Selves There’s a great saying in theater: “Theater work is life work.” What we mean is that the things we struggle with in acting are often the things we struggle with in life. And we can learn from them. A typical scenario involves playing opposite an actor who we just don’t like. And the play says, we have to love them. It’s our job, as an actor, to find something to love. And the more we find them annoying, the more we know there is a lesson to be learned. Many years ago, in rehearsal for a play at the Circle Rep Lab, I learned a profound life lesson. I was in a scene with an actor who was…difficult. He dominated, he roared his lines, never in reaction to me, but as if he were in his own play, he blamed me for his inability to reach the emotional pinnacle he believed his character should achieve (“She’s not making me cry!”), he even pulled me backwards onto a chair, saying, “You’re supposed to sit on this line!” At first, I wanted to control him! To make him stop trying to control me! A never-ending knot of control. At some point I realized that I was not …Read on: https://lnkd.in/ecy_VkQG #power #control #CircleRepLab #poweroverothers #responsibility #influence #sway #authority #acceptance
