New Year, New Goals, New Accountability 🎯💪 The other day, I was listening to BBC Radio One, and they were discussing whether we should replace the word "resolution" with "intention" for the New Year. Their reasoning? The word "resolution" supposedly carries negative connotations, especially if you don’t achieve what you’ve set out to do. Using "intention" was seen as a way to avoid feelings of shame or failure. Honestly, I didn’t agree at all. While I understand the importance of self-compassion, I think there’s value in accountability. If we don’t achieve something within our control, shouldn’t we reflect, take responsibility, and use it as a lesson to grow? 🤔📈 Life will always throw curveballs 🌪️, and sometimes external factors make our goals unattainable, which is understandable. But when the outcome is in our hands, it’s important to own our failures and learn from them, rather than rebranding them to avoid discomfort. Growth doesn’t come from blame-shifting; it comes from resilience and taking action. 🚀✨ So, here’s to 2025 resolutions. Not intentions. Resolutions that push us to be better, take responsibility, and learn along the way. Let’s make it a year of accountability and progress! 🎉💼

2024 marked a monumental leap forward for biologit. biologit MLM-AI, and the newly launched biologit Database solidified their positions as industry leaders. Exceeding the milestone of 100 enterprise licenses was not just a testament to our technological excellence but also a validation of the trust and value our partners place in our solutions. This year wasn’t only about numbers but also about innovation. The product enhancements and the launch of the database for local literature opened new possibilities for active safety surveillance, addressing the needs of enterprises globally. My Year in Numbers: Personally, I thought I’d taken a quieter approach to travel this year—only to discover I’d boarded 38 flights! Living on an island, my only other choice is by boat 🚣♀️ 😅. On the ground, I represented biologit at 16 events—as a speaker, panelist, and networker. Each event was a platform to share biologit's vision, strengthen partnerships, and absorb insights from a dynamic industry. The demands of this visibility extended beyond logistics to wardrobe upgrades: my conference suits saw a stylish evolution from Massimo Dutti to Max Mara Fashion Group (thank goodness for that 50% discount!). Looking Ahead to 2025: The horizon looks even brighter for 2025. If projections hold, biologit will surpass 1,000 enterprise licenses. This isn’t just growth; it’s transformation and scale! The next year promises to amplify everything we’ve worked for—more innovation, more partnerships, and even more travel (time to strategise a more sustainable wardrobe plan).

Right—looking at both far-right and far-left politics—it is surprising that both aim to address the same core issues, yet the far-right blames the left, and the far-left blames the right. However, a key difference has emerged in the past decade: while the left seeks to reform institutions, albeit still holding hope and optimism in the system, the far-right sees the system as collapsing, failing the very people it seeks to protect - why its more willing to use violence and its members prone to being radicalized. What I find most interesting is how #MAGA, with its call for reform and its perception of a breakdown in American democracy and views of a corrupt elite is very legitimate. Yet, the anxieties and grievances of these populations have largely ignored over decades and instead been weaponized not only against themselves but against the long-term interests of the people and the very democracies and institutions built to protect them. The weaponization of these segments of the population both coincides with, but also acts to disenfranchise them - creating a deadly cycle; eventually the pot boils over; there are releases. Yet the cycle continues - calling them #thugs, while refusing to address the core issues fueling these crisis. Furthermore, the continous haphazard and nefarious application of divisive politics by the powerful puts at risk the future of our nations but the world at large. We sit at critical moment in our history. We the people must understand—whatever our differences, the path forward must be one where we march together. However large the bridge between us appears - let us understand at the end of the day, we all seek the same thing: peace and our rights to pursuit happiness.
