In today's episode of the #OurTeam series, we’re talking with our colleague Alexandru Cosma. At our office, Alex is an architect, CG artist, and rendering specialist. 😎 Alex graduated from UAUIM with a degree in architecture. Throughout his career, Alex has worked on a variety of projects, from architecture to interior design, which has given him a profound understanding of the direction he wants to pursue. Currently, Alex's objective is to support the RBP team in project development through high-quality, photorealistic renderings. He believes that a passion for his work and for people are the keys to success for any architect or rendering specialist. When it comes to finding inspiration and creativity in rendering, Alex shares his formula: movies, video games and theater or concert setups. We can attest that this formula works – his creative potential knows no limits. 🤪 Why did he choose to join the RBP team? He found the forward-thinking mindset he was seeking for and with which he resonates. Additionally, he was attracted to the free-spirited and bold nature of his colleagues, both professionally and personally. Indeed, all our team members carry a bit of adrenaline in their hearts. A thought from Alex: To build our relationship with the future, we must have a strong relationship with the present. For example, when we aim to construct something, it will undoubtedly and inevitably impact people and the surrounding area, as a built object could last 100 years. Therefore, act consciously and responsibly, and ensure the impact is positive. 😌✌🏼

I'd like to confess; People are always curious why I didn't take the typical architecture route. The truth is, I wanted to explore. Explore art direction, animation, and filming. While architecture education offered a great foundation for creative exploration, I wasn't one to stick solely to the curriculum. I delved into unconventional, non-architectural software like Blender3D, Cinema4D, DaVinci, etc. My pursuit of knowledge extended to editorial design and architectural photography as well. Why? To showcase my projects in the most engaging and presentable way possible (sometimes even to hide minor design errors!). This included the composition of my renders, layouts of my sheets, and the cinematography of my walkthroughs. Down the line, I realized that curating these elements as a form of narrative and storytelling brought me more joy than the applause for my architectural designs themselves. Fast forward to 2024, I co-run a multidisciplinary design studio, TAPE, where we use visual mediums to tell stories. We are back, and now working with DEPARSE ARCHITECTS we were able to present this modern house, focusing on the key environments that make up this project to showcase the architects vision. To give life the project we focused on adding small elements throughout the presentation such as, lemon shot, cellphone shot, and a distinct sound of the waterfall through the video, our goal was to show this project while it was alive, and we were Mainly able to do this with the use of SFX. we figured that simple camera movements wouldn't capture how it would feel to be inside so we carefully selected shots that allow the viewer to feel invested in the project. . #architecture #interiordesign #3dart #3ddesign #visualization #animation #archviz #rendering #photorealism #realestate
