Our Watch’s Post

Men can play their part in ending violence against women by challenging the attitudes and beliefs that lead to violence. That can look like ✅Calling out sexist "jokes" ✅Challenging gender stereotypes ✅Role modelling respect Together, we can build a future free from violence. The biggest indicator that you've given away your power, is believing you don't have any. Everyone is responsible for speaking up against violence, and men need to be in these conversations actively to prevent harm against women.

I want to change the deliberate exclusion of men from dv assistance, stats, and discuss how western women are being incentivised to claim dv for full custody, which is dv itself. These bogus claims are just money making scams. Under Labor the dv went up because that's what they wanted through tax funded sieved anti dv claims that bullied men and children, and used women to create youth crime. The best thing men can do about dv is to your organisation to cease trading and profiting from family violence

not surprised, i know lots of good men who want to help, but are scared off the the negative women’s movement against men.

Thank you for sharing these really interesting statistics. The gap between men wanting things to change but not knowing how to change them is what prompted me to create the BE LADS campaign. "BE LADS" is an acronym for simple advice men (or anyone) can follow to help women (or anyone) feel safer walking alone as a first step on the journey of reducing violence against women. The campaign has been hugely successful as it doesn't vilify men, and instead gives practical advice for men who want to help. Feel free to drop me a message to find out more!

Staggering but worthy data to share. Men can play an integral role in change.
