Reflecting on my recent conversation with Tracy Brower, PhD Brower, I am reminded of the profound importance of 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. In many Eastern cultures, there is a profound belief in the concept of oneness—the idea that we are all interconnected, living not in separate countries but in one big country called the world. This perspective emphasizes that our actions, support, and love extend beyond borders and that we all have a role in nurturing the collective well-being of our global community. As the founder of Antaha, I have seen firsthand the transformative power of community and togetherness. When we come together to support each other, we create a foundation of love, trust, and security. These are the pillars that enable children to grow into confident, compassionate, and resilient adults. Supporting a child doesn’t require grand gestures. Often, it’s the small, consistent acts of kindness, the words of encouragement, and simply being present that make the most significant difference. It’s about creating an environment where children feel valued and understood, where their dreams are nurtured, and where they are empowered to reach their full potential. Imagine a world where every child has access to a network of supportive adults—teachers, parents, neighbors, and mentors—who are committed to their well-being. A world where children can thrive because they know they are not alone. This vision of collective care is not just a dream; it is a possibility within our reach if we all choose to embrace the spirit of oneness. Let’s extend our hands and hearts to those around us, building a global community that cherishes togetherness and mutual support. In doing so, we not only enrich the lives of children but also create a legacy of compassion and unity for future generations. #Community #Togetherness #ChildSupport #GlobalUnity #Wellbeing #Oneness #east #unity

Exciting Progress on Our Intergenerational Projects! Bridging Beyond is on a mission to transform Hackney and Islington into vibrant, united communities by overcoming social isolation and prejudice through empathy-driven programmes, events, and workshops that connect diverse groups and foster understanding. In our community, we are witnessing a growing and alarming divide between generations. Older adults are increasingly isolated and disconnected, while younger generations are missing out on invaluable opportunities to learn from their elders. At Bridging Beyond, we are thrilled to share some wonderful updates on our ongoing intergenerational projects. We have been working tirelessly to foster meaningful connections between different generations, and the results have been truly heartwarming. Recently, we collaborated with Age UK to host the "What Are They Thinking?" event. This unique gathering brought together seniors and young people to engage in open dialogues, share their perspectives, and learn from each other's experiences. The event was a resounding success, with participants expressing how much they enjoyed the opportunity to connect and understand different viewpoints. We are also excited to announce that we are putting together a new intergenerational project that will unite primary school children with elderly people in retirement residential areas. This initiative aims to create enriching experiences for both the young and the elderly, fostering a sense of community and mutual respect. We are fortunate to be working with an experienced charity that specializes in intergenerational projects, and they will be providing us with their expertise and guidance. We are currently in the fundraising phase for this new project, and we are grateful for the support and enthusiasm from everyone involved. As we continue to build these bridges between generations, we look forward to more inspiring moments and stories to share. Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you for being a part of this journey with us! 🌟 Update from Bridging Beyond 🌟 We regret to inform you that our planned intergenerational project collaboration with local Hackney charities has unfortunately fallen through. As a result, we will not be proceeding with this project. Thank you for your continued support and understanding. We remain committed to fostering connections within our community and will keep you updated on future initiatives. www.bridgingbeyond.org #Intergenerational #CommunityBuilding #EmpathyInAction #BridgingGenerations #YouthAndElders #ConnectingCommunities #BuildingBridges #BridgingBeyond #NewingtonGreenAlliance #Islington #Hackney #Loneliness #SocialIsolation #Elderly
