However, inspired by a 2022 Harvard Business Review study, she found that self-reflection was a powerful tool for growth. This shift helped Angela navigate her challenges and build her confidence as a newly licensed pharmacist. Helping Early Career Physicians #StartWithWellbeing to Find Success With Satisfaction. Coach. Speaker. Women's Health Physician.
"What if you didn't have to explain it?" Living out the philosophy of "start with well-being" is a challenge. It requires you (1) to acknowledge what gets and keeps you well and (2) to use that knowledge as the foundation for what you do and how you do it. Many people get caught up at step one because you are processing your wants and needs through what other people expect from you. Immediately after you accept your particular want or need, you start considering how you will explain that want or need to whomever. I invite you to practice considering your own wants and needs without feeling like you have to explain them. Get accustomed to sitting in your truth before you start devising justification for why it aligns with your well-being. Especially after decades of formal medical education, it can feel weird not to have a randomized control trial at the ready to support all your conclusions. If you need a comfortable space to ponder without judgment, contact me for a complimentary clarity conversation. #EssenceOfStrength #StartWithWellbeing #SuccessWithSatisfaction #PhysicianWellbeing
