I'm a sucker for a room full of strengths-minded leaders. This morning, I left the Metroport Rotary Club meeting feeling incredibly energized after reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Our strengths go with us everywhere, so we talked about strengths-based service for greater community impact. Loved the warm welcome and a great conversation. And of course, we revisited the Rotary Four-Way Test of the things we think, say, and do. During our latest leadership meeting, one quote from Simon Sinek was used to set the tone for what we set out to accomplish: "The opportunity is not to discover the perfect company for ourselves. The opportunity is to build the perfect company for each other." The number one way we help each other build that perfect company is to hold ourselves and each other accountable from a place of trust. This is more than simply ensuring our teams hit their goals, this is making sure that every member of our company can hold even the CEO and President accountable for our collective success.
