Automation taken to another level: www.rmote.health Revolutionising Primary NHS Care with Patient-Led Automation 🌟🚀 In today's digital age, the power of automation is transforming industries across the board. But what if I told you that the next big leap in healthcare could come from patient-led automation? 🤖💡 Imagine a world where an app, designed by and for patients, could streamline primary NHS care, making it more efficient and patient-centric. Here’s how this innovation can make a difference: 🌍 Empowering Patients: By using a patient-led app, individuals can take charge of their health journey. They can book appointments, access medical records, and even receive personalised health advice at their fingertips. ⌛ Reducing Waiting Times: Automation in primary NHS care can cut down on administrative tasks, allowing healthcare professionals to focus on what truly matters – patient care. Fewer delays mean faster treatments and better outcomes! 📊 Improving Data Accuracy: With automated data entry and management, the likelihood of errors decreases. This ensures that healthcare providers have accurate, up-to-date information to make informed decisions. 🔄 Enhancing Continuity of Care: An integrated app can seamlessly connect patients with multiple healthcare providers, ensuring that their care is consistent and well-coordinated, no matter where they are. 💬 Facilitating Communication: Automated reminders, notifications, and messaging through the app can keep patients informed and engaged, leading to higher adherence to treatment plans and follow-up appointments. This isn't just a tech upgrade; it's a paradigm shift. Patient-led automation isn’t about replacing the human touch – it's about enhancing it, making primary NHS care more responsive and personalised. Let’s embrace the potential of automation to build a healthcare system that listens, learns, and leads with the patient at its heart. ❤️🔧 #HealthcareInnovation #NHSCare #PatientLed #Automation #DigitalHealth #HealthcareRevolution #PrimaryCare #PatientCentric Would you like more information on how patient-led apps can revolutionise healthcare? Feel free to reach out and let’s discuss! 🌟📲

All of these Psychologists have certainly made important contributions. But using citation metrics to rank "Top" scientists ignores the many other ways that scientists contribute to or harm scientific progress. As we've recently seen in various fraud and questionnable research practice investigations in the behavioral sciences, some scientists may look astounding on a limited number of dimensions such as citations or publications, but pollute the scientific literature with unreliable research or as toxic mentors and colleagues. By focusing on individual achievements, such metrics incentivize scientists to do whatever is best for their careers, regardless of what is best for science. We need to move towards a system when scientists are rewarded or punished for their entire range of contributions to science, not just their individual achievements. References: Moher et al. on broadening criteria for recognition and rewards: https://lnkd.in/dPzvFmZJ Our recent paper with Daniel Lakens on shifting evaluation criteria away from the level of individuals: https://lnkd.in/djgP2eFv Utrecht University's new policy to recognize and reward broader contributions: https://lnkd.in/dkvUC-vm
This is a pretty cool accolade to have and a great group of colleagues to be in.

A little late posting this but better late than never! Here are the highlights for August! On the personal front: 1. Taking a vacation where I hardly worked at all and when I did, it was because I choose to, not because I had to. 2. My fastest A-10 race in a decade. 3. Not gaining weight while on vacation. 4. My oldest starting High School and a new travel team. 5. Youngest starting kindergarten and my middle one starting 7th. 6. Joined a carpool for both schools and it has been so awesome! On the work front: 1. Completed my SDMO recert. 2. Officially stepping down from doing support for Stewart. This was one of my 10X goals this year so it was exciting to make it happen. 3. Learning to ask two questions: “What can we learn from this?” and “What happened/talk to me about it.” 4. Finished the book Fierce Conversations. 5. Watched a great webinar hosted by Strategic Coach. 6. Watching my team at Stewart evolving and growing their skills as a team. So proud of how far we have come this year. What were your wins for August? Share away!

For those of you familiar with 82 Stanton in the Lower East Side - you have probably heard about our weekly trivia nights on Wednesdays. We sell out every week and it’s an experience that many people enjoy. I’m looking to expand our trivia program over to 310 Bowery, but in a slightly different format. I want to make it more competitive with higher stakes while also making it a fun way for people in the city to network and build comradery amongst their teams. Industry Themed Trivia Nights For Example: Battles of the Banks at 310 Bowery Ideally we get one team of about 8 people to represent their bank in a trivia battle. At 310 Bowery we’d be able to host 15-20 teams. This concept can also be applied to Consulting, Accounting, Big Tech, PR, Entertainment, Fitness, Modeling, etc. Instead of just competing for market share and sales, let’s see who can put up the best trivia teams. Big Prizes, Cool Sponsors, Electric Nights. I have some people in my personal network that I will be contacting but would love for you all to connect me with people who could help me make this happen/want to participate. If you’ve never been to or heard of our trivia program at 82 Stanton - check out the video below to give you an inside look!
