#membernews Intamin, a creator of record-breaking amusement rides, has shared details of its immersive ride experience, LuneXplorer, which opened at Cité de l’espace, France, on 14 November 2023. This one-of-a-kind immersive ride, the second of its kind in Europe, enables guests to experience a simulated take-off and journey to the Moon, complete with physical sensations.  The ride is designed using a centrifuge concept. The rotation speed produces acceleration on the passengers, who are seated comfortably within ride cabins meant to simulate the environment of a rocket launch module. LuneXplorer is more than just a visitor attraction; it’s also a scientific experiment! Feature story on the immersive VR environment/videos I produced (filmed, recorded narration, edited, created/hosted on the Warp VR platform, and fully manage), with the amazing Betsy Stoner, for one of her courses at Bentley University (and beyond)! Looking forward to growing this even bigger in the near future. We produced this VR project from start to finish completely in-house. From the article: "The videos...mark the first time in Bentley’s history that a VR experience produced entirely by university faculty and staff has been used for classroom instruction." To say it's something I'm proud of would be a complete understatement.

Wind farms can be freely explored from different angles and important insights can be gained in the process. The use of WindFlight VR for planned wind energy projects enables a vivid presentation of these projects to the local #population. Whether at the Tarmstedt Exhibition, the largest trade fair in northern Germany, or at important public information events - the numerous positive responses from users confirm the added value of this interactive approach. We've taken a step aside from our Virtual Life Support solution to bring a unique piece of history to life for the XR Actieplan, spearheaded by RTC Antwerpen. We were asked to port our Bivak '44-'45 historical simulation, originally crafted for the city of Nijmegen (Gemeente Nijmegen), to the PICO XR Pico 4 Enterprise. We're happy to announce that this port has been successfully completed and is now enhancing the historical journey for users across more than 1000 headsets! Embark on a unique historical expedition: Step into the shoes of a soldier tasked with uncovering and exploring an allied forces' dugout from World War II. This immersive simulation is based on an extraordinary archaeological find at Heijendaalseweg in Nijmegen, near the former monastery of the Fathers Sacramentines, revealing a deep pit with four rooms constructed from ammunition boxes. Please note, the headset featured in our video clip, created for the original project, is obviously not the Pico 4 Enterprise, but the immersive experience remains unchanged and as engaging as ever.
