**Subject: Persistent Issue and Unfair Charges for Chimney Touch Panel Replacement** Dear TTK Prestige Team, I recently had a very disappointing experience with TTK Prestige's service, and I feel compelled to share it. After booking a service for my Prestige chimney, which had been functioning perfectly for 4-5 years, the touch panel malfunctioned the day after the technician's visit. This issue was not present before the service, and it is clear that the technician’s handling caused this problem. To make matters worse, the technician brought an untrained individual with him, who he claimed was a family member under training. This non-technician made several mistakes during the cleaning process, which were acknowledged by the technician himself. I immediately reported the issue, but the technician delayed addressing it for over a month. Now, I am being told that since my product is out of warranty, I need to pay for the replacement. Offering a discount does not address the fundamental issue of accountability for service-related faults. Here are the key points: 1. The touch panel was fully functional before the service. 2. The malfunction occurred immediately after the technician serviced the chimney. 3. The technician delayed addressing the issue for over a month. 4. The technician brought an untrained assistant, whose mistakes likely contributed to the malfunction. 5. I have been facing this issue for the last 1.5 months and have been calling customer care daily, yet there is still no resolution. It is unacceptable to expect customers to bear the cost of repairs for damage caused by your own technicians. This situation has caused significant inconvenience and stress, disrupting our daily lives. I demand: 1. Immediate resolution of the touch panel issue at no additional cost. 2. Prompt and professional service from a competent technician to fix the problem. 3. A written assurance that such negligence and unprofessional behavior will not recur. I have been patient and cooperative, but the response from TTK Prestige has failed to acknowledge the responsibility your company holds for the service provided. In a world of automation, outsourced call centers, and AI, it seems rare to actually speak with someone who can relate to what's going on in a given situation. Too often do I go to a restaurant and feel like the wait staff is doing the bare minimum to stay employed. But every once in a while I do get to see legendary service in action. Receiving a refill without having to ask. Making sure condiments are delivered with the food. But legendary service exists outside of the food industry as well. For us it can be spending the extra time to put hardware on that was originally missing, cleaning parts on a major repair, or recommending related components so they are not back soon with a similar issue. TLDR: AC LEAKING INSIDE WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF PURCHASE 4 COMPLAINTS RAISED, 40 DAYS, NO RESOLUTION ______________________________ I purchased a Croma inverter AC on 17th April 2024. I trusted that a Tata Group product will be good. This is Mistake #1. I knew that Tata Service is one of the worst, in spite of that I bought the AC This was mistake #2 Sure, some products may be faulty, and this aircon started leaking water inside the room! As any consumer would respond, I called Croma Customer Care & asked for a technician visit.  10/08/2024 - CRLA012IND2559 After 3 days, a technician came, checked the indoor unit, did some taping & assured that the problem would not recur. I know what you are expecting next, the problem was NOT resolved. However, on 13th august, I receive an SMS from Croma that my request has been cancelled. I DID NOT CANCEL IT On 17th August, Croma then goes ahead & sends as SMS that the service request from 10th august (C003514375) has been resolved (Suo Motu) <PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED> So on 18th August, I go through the rigmarole of raising another request. (C003723243) NOBODY EVEN FOLLOWS UP TO CALL FOR THIS REQUEST. IT'S LIKE IT WAS NEVER RAISED. ON THE SAME DAY, I RECIEVE AN SMS that SERVICE REQUEST HAS BEEN RESOLVED, FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER RESOLUTION REQUEST (C003723243) But wait, my harrowing experience is not over. I showed immense patience & raised another request on 3rd September 2024 (C003844626) - No response, No Calls, No Visit, No Update. Once again, I surprised myself with my patience & good nature. I raised a FOURTH request on 18th September 2024 - It's been 40 days since my first request - Please Note A technician visited on Friday. He did some basic fix & told me that he will keep the complaint open. If the problem persisted, he will come back to fix the issue. THE PROBLEM HAS GOTTEN WORSE, HE HAS NOT RETURNED. LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE IS NOW REASSIGNING IT SOMEONE ELSE. Shibashish Roy As the Deputy CEO, I am tagging you because this seems to be the only thing that wakes up the Slumbering slob that Tata Group Service teams seem to be. I had to resort to a similar issue with Tata Play just 2 months ago. Please ask your Delhi NCR Team to Initiate a Full Refund for this Lemon of an AC & take it back. I am sure you can make this happen. Please pull up your game & learn something from some of your peers.
