A living wage is the minimum income necessary for a worker to meet their basic needs, including food, housing, healthcare, and other essentials, without financial assistance. It is crucial for enhancing the standard of living within a society or community as it ensures that individuals can maintain a decent quality of life and participate fully in economic activities. By providing a living wage, employers help reduce poverty, decrease reliance on social welfare programs, and promote economic stability. This, in turn, fosters healthier, more productive communities and contributes to overall societal well-being. #economicfreedom #standardofliving

As a workplace transformation expert, my position is that the employee and the employer are like to hands of a man, you can't wash one hand clean without assistance from the other. They must join hands in sincerity of purpose from the employee and transparency from the employer to ensure a 'Clean wage' that serves everyone's interest😊 Living wage vs Minimum wage, do you know the difference?
