What's in it for me? 🤷♀️ Yesterday I was talking to a client about a potential franchising model marketing strategy. I believe if you want to build a business and to then franchise it, you first need to establish yourself as a profitable, credible brand in your specific industry, and you need to have a proven marketing strategy. That marketing strategy should then be fed down to your franchisees to enable them to hit the ground running, feel fully supported and get a return on their investment. If you don't do this then you're setting yourself AND your franchisees to fail ❌ So my advice if you're thinking of franchising is to put yourself in your franchisees shoes and ask: What's in it for me? Because that's the first question your franchisee will ask! You're NOT the only one interviewing, they're interviewing you too. And if you don't get that bit right, they're not going to buy into you.
