❗ 📢 IFACC has a new signatory! A big welcome to FISALIS.agr! Fisalis is a consultancy company working with asset manager PARAMIS CAPITAL on the development of a Fiagro investment fund. This is an IFACC-aligned fund which is backed by agricultural receivables to support regenerative agriculture production based on the restoration of degraded pastureland systems in the Cerrado region. Fisalis was founded by a group of agricultural engineers and entrepreneurs with strong knowledge of farming, ranching and broad experiences within the agribusiness sector. Their business model fosters the conversion of the widely available degraded pasture into cropland, alleviating the pressure over native vegetation areas - an urgent need considering that the Cerrado is experiencing a surge in deforestation rates.

Aimed at supporting land and ocean regenerative farmers scale their impact businesses, Bright Tide Regenerative Farming Accelerator programme had it's first event last week. The panel discussions provided an insight into the challenges that the ventures are facing, but also offered attendees a glimpse into what can be achieved through cross-sector collaboration and partnerships. Legal Director Tim Stansfeld explains “The launch event captured the essence of what the programme participants and partners want to achieve. From demonstrating the challenges faced and opportunities available across the regenerative farming sector, to highlighting the scope for cross-collaboration and knowledge-sharing, the launch event was the first stage in showcasing the technical capabilities and impressive ambitions of the participants, and enabling the partners to foresee how we can all work together to make regenerative farming both viable and successful.” As a Founding Partner, Kennedys will provide technical and advisory legal support to the ventures to help build and develop each businesses’ impact and we are all looking forward to taking part in the next stage of the programme. Dirt Capital Partners has raised over $30 million for their farmland fund, targeting a final close of $50 million by year-end, to enhance farmer access to land and promote regenerative agriculture.
