A bunch of people have asked me about the LSTA/Deal Catalyst conference which took place last week in Florida. One of the better panels was on Liquidity in Private Credit: Secondary Market Trading and Secondary Funds. That's where Strategic Liquidity Fund Acquisitions, SLFAQ, LLC comes in! We are secondary buyers of private loans that are distressed. While this wasn't the focus of this panel, they did address secondary trading in the private loans. The panel was moderated by Adelene Lee of Reorg and Ted Basta of LSTA, Anthony Diaz of Antares Capital LP, Tim Grell of Tikehau Capital, Michael Loehrke of Golub Capital, and Daniel Roddick of Ely Place Partners. Big news for Wellspring Capital Management who have just undertaken an industry first -- splitting a single asset into two separate continuation vehicles.
