Pan African Centre for Climate (PACC) Policy

Women have historically been at the forefront of movements for environmental conservation and sustainability, advocating for policies and practices that protect our planet for future generations. It is crucial that we continue to empower and support women in their efforts to promote environmental education and lifelong learning.   On this International Women's Day, we honor and recognize the contributions of women in environmental education and lifelong learning. We celebrate their passion, dedication, and tireless efforts to educate others about the importance of preserving our natural resources and creating a more sustainable world.   We also acknowledge the unique perspectives and voices that women bring to the table when it comes to addressing environmental challenges. Their creativity, empathy, and innovative thinking are invaluable assets in finding solutions to complex environmental issues.   As we celebrate International Women's Day, let us commit to amplifying the voices of women in environmental education and lifelong learning, supporting their work, and promoting gender equality in all aspects of our efforts to build a more sustainable future for all. Together, we can create a world where women are empowered to make a positive impact on the environment and inspire others to do the same.
