🌅 Cultivating Communities - The Pacha Foundation’s Invaluable Impact on Ibiza 🌟 The Pacha Foundation was established in 2018 as a private non-profit organisation to consolidate The Pacha Group's charitable legacy of contributing social assistance to its home Island of Ibiza. 🤝🏻 Anchored by its Mission Statement, The Pacha Foundation exists to “promote solidarity, resilience, and excellence while fostering genuine engagement with society and contributing to Ibiza’s social, cultural, artistic, and environmental goals.” 🏅 While some foundations aspire for global reach but face the challenge of realising measurable impact and continuity in their legacy, The Pacha Foundation maintains a clear vision of giving back exclusively to Ibiza. This philosophy is born out of its recognition that its 50+ year success has come directly from the diverse and hard-working communities living alongside the Pacha Brand. 💸 President Kabir Mulchandani’s belief in a flourishing Foundation is reflected in his historic increase in funding across The Pacha Foundation’s portfolio. In 2024, The Pacha Foundation increased its Social Assistance support by 56%; in its Culture and Arts programs, the Foundation provided an 87% increase in funding, while Sports, a new area of focus, received a 233% increase. Likewise, critical Environmental projects have benefited from a 194% increase in portfolio funding for 2024. 👏🏻 Funding over 35 programs in 2024, the Foundation has grown exponentially while reiterating its commitment to social care providers and cultural leaders. The Foundation and its partners strive to uphold Ibiza’s legacy and foster ever-resilient communities. 💚 Today, The Pacha Group: ✅ Delivers innovative social rehabilitation for the youth who have suffered mistreatment and life-altering disabilities, through engagement with music, art and animals. ✅ Empowers spaces for Ibiza’s communities to re-ignite their ancient yet vibrant dances and customs, sharing with visitors from around the world. ✅ Enables global sporting events and local youth leagues to flourish as future champions and community-leaders. ✅ Inspires fascination for Ibiza’s stunning marine ecosystems through diving camps and enacts action as a member of national forums. 💎 Through its four avenues of impact, The Pacha Group drives impact across diverse spaces aiming to reach every segment of society and deliver positive community growth. 🍒 To Join The Pacha Family, Apply Now: https://lnkd.in/d4h2h8ca #ThePachaGroup #ThePachaFoundation

Giving Back to Kanata North & Ottawa On #GivingTuesday, Wesley Clover is proud to reflect on the journey the Wesley Clover Foundation has shared with local philanthropic and community partners such as Queensway Carleton Hospital, CHEO, Christie Lake Kids, to name a few, and Kanata North Business Association. Over the years, the Wesley Clover Foundation has helped to provide over $30M to support local organizations, events and initiatives that strengthen our community. Some of the Contributions: ▪️ Transforming Kanata North: What began as a rural industrial park has evolved into Canada’s largest tech hub. The Wesley Clover Foundation worked alongside the city and the local business community to support this transformation by investing in work-life amenities, focusing on youth, encouraging entrepreneurship and fostering a culture of caring that continues. ▪️ Fundraising for Community Impact: Through events like Lumière Charity Gala, Spurs & Sparkles, and the Red Dragon Golf Tournament, we’ve helped raise millions for organizations such as CHEO, the Queensway Carleton, Christie Lake Kids and the Capital City Condors, making a lasting difference for countless families. ▪️ Promoting Outdoor Recreation: The investment in Wesley Clover Parks has created an important destination to support health, education, and sustainability. By providing access to green spaces, trails, and recreational areas, the community benefits from the connection with nature and each other. ▪️ Strengthening Vital Services: The Wesley Clover Foundation has offered space and support to several organizations including the Kanata Food Cupboard, the Kanata Research Park Family Centre and Matthew House, ensuring essential services remain accessible to those in need. The Wesley Clover Foundation’s commitment to Kanata North is about building a community where people can live, work, play, learn, and innovate. My most awesome #leadership feat to date might be the time I made it snow in the Arabian Desert. And it had nothing to do with my "career." As the #volunteercoordinator for Feline Friends Abu Dhabi from 2015 to 2018, I wrangled A LOT of volunteers. This ranged from supporting foster families for the kitties to organising huge #fundraising events. For our 2016 Winter Festival, we managed to get a company called Desert Snow to turn a school football field in the desert into a winter wonderland. It was amazing. This required a HUGE amount of volunteer coordination, effort, time, and influence to get it done. It was no small feat. We raised A TON of money that year, all of which was because of the amazing volunteers and the companies who donated their time / goods / snow to make the festival magical. But someone has to do the wrangling. 😜 I often speak with #emergingleaders about where they can find leadership opportunities. They are everywhere, if you're looking through a lens of skill instead of title, so to speak. ⚽ Are you involved in sports? Would you consider coaching? ⛪ What about volunteering and non-profit opportunities? Or ways to be involved at your church / mosque / synagogue? 🚸 Do you have tamariki? I'm sure their kura would love to have your support, either at cake stalls or in a #governance role on the #schoolboard. There are so many ways to show up as a leader. And, there will always be community support needed from good people who want to leave the world a little better off than when they got there. Bonus points if you're the type of leader who is also keen to make whimsical watercolour signage for your mahi. 🎨

Consider giving back to the world by donating to PlaneTerra. “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness” Mark Twain Check out my fundraising page for Planeterra International Foundation Ltd - https://lnkd.in/gGyiJFuB About Planeterra: Planeterra is the leading community tourism organization working to reduce poverty around the world. Tourism is an $8 trillion global industry, but many local businesses and communities do not benefit from it. There are some forms of tourism where $0 reaches the hands of local people. Planeterra works to break this cycle by supporting and uplifting community tourism. Established in 2003 by Bruce Poon Tip, Planeterra was born with the vision of using tourism to raise money to do good things around the world. Twenty years later, this vision has not only become a reality but has also begun changing how the tourism industry traditionally works, embracing local communities rather than excluding them from tourism and making travel experiences more meaningful and impactful in the process.

It feels good to wrap up such an impactful year at Catalytic Communities! This was a year during which our increasingly historic work supporting Rio de Janeiro's favelas reached a new level of cross-cutting influence and recognition. Today, our three strategic programs, the result of these decades of co-creation with our favela partners, are RioOnWatch, the Sustainable Favela Network and the Favela Community Land Trust Program. Three times a year we publish a 4-month e-newsletter, compiling all of the activities across programs undertaken during that period, color-coded so you can quickly identify the section most relevant to you. Please find our latest, very exciting, summary below. Note that these newsletters are getting denser with each passing year, since our deliberative, slow-build, and generative approach inspires increasing waves of impact from year to year. So please take the time to explore the areas that interest you. And finally, as we close out another annual cycle, please don't forget to make your annual contribution, if you haven't already. CatComm's ability to deliver depends on a healthy mix of support to realize so much, and it is our individual donors—you—who guarantee our responsiveness to favela partners, our ability to assist them as they face opportunities and challenges, and during critical transitions, allows us to stay on course! All donation amounts make a real difference! YOU are an essential part of this story! Donate Today. (PayPal is also available for USD, GBP and BRL donations.) Please read on for a deep-dive into all these exciting efforts: bit.ly/CatCommNewsV3i3 I wish you a happy, healthy, abundant, and balanced 2025!!! 💫
