The mystical town of Mompox was the home of Alma Air for the week as Chief Commercial Officer Rupert Stebbings attended the Cotelco Capitulo Cartagena y Bolívar symposium in the town. The idea of Colteco is to build close connections with its Bolivar cities and towns, accordingly both the Governor of the state and Mayor of Mompox were in attendance. The tourism ambitions for Cartagena, Mompox and the rest of Bolivar are extensive. There were workshops for the local hotels which Importantly included the support of Fundación Renacer who are helped fight the scourge of the sexual exploitation of minors by tourists, something that Mompox, unlike other cities, has avoided, and long may it remain that way. The ongoing challenge is connectivity and Alma Air is here to help in that regard.
