An excellent program to help lawyers tailor services to specific clients' needs. It's about knowing your client and giving them services they need in the way they need them. A bit like plain language, actually. Nice work, LISNS and Shila LeBlanc.

It is crucial to recognize the various forms of harassment to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone in the workplace In the context of Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH), there are three primary types of harassment which include verbal, visual, and physical forms. - Verbal harassment encompasses unwelcome comments, jokes, or remarks of a sexual nature, creating a hostile work environment. - Visual harassment involves inappropriate images, gestures, or displays that degrade or intimidate individuals. - Physical harassment includes unwelcome physical contact or advances, violating personal boundaries and dignity. We can foster environments that promote respect, dignity, and equality for all through education and awareness. Adhering to POSH guidelines helps uphold ethical conduct and prevents instances of harassment in workplaces and beyond. Do you think, understanding these types empowers individuals to identify and address harassment effectively? If you want to make your workplace more human and you need top-quality content that supports brave, relevant, hopeful and ultimately empowering conversations about these very real issues, have a look at this: I recently watched Run to the Monster's incredible series on sexual harrassment, called The Line. Check out Episode 1 below to get a taste of their Netflix-level documentary-style videos, and how skilfully they tackle this and other topics in their broader range of offerings on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. For me, this really goes to the heart of what it means to be safe, seen and respected in organisations. Here's to remembering that beyond "compliance", there is humanity; that real learning means talking about the scary and therefore most important things; and that e-learning content can be anything but boring. https://lnkd.in/d6A_dMrE Get in touch with Run to the Monster for more. And here we go with part 2 of the sexual harassment post series! Inclusive Solutions While women are primarily affected, it's important to acknowledge that men too can experience sexual harassment. Studies indicate a significant percentage of men encounter inappropriate behavior in professional settings. By acknowledging and addressing all dimensions of this issue, we pave the way for inclusive solutions that benefit everyone. Committing to Change Sexual harassment is never acceptable. It's a violation of human rights and undermines the fundamental principles of equality and fairness. We must commit to a zero-tolerance approach and hold ourselves accountable for creating workplaces where every individual can thrive without fear of harassment or discrimination. Moving Forward Together Transforming workplace culture requires collective action. It starts with awareness, education, and open dialogue. By sharing experiences, advocating for change, and implementing robust policies, we can build workplaces where respect, dignity, and professionalism define our interactions. Join me in this series as we delve deeper into the complexities of sexual harassment, explore practical strategies for prevention and support, and work towards a future where every workplace is safe, inclusive, and empowering. #EndSexualHarassment #DiversityAndInclusion #ZeroTolerance #RespectInWorkplace #ChangeMakers #SafeWorkplaces #Empowerment
