Sustainability discussions in our industry almost exclusively focus on topics like climate change, global warming, decarbonization, and emission reduction. While these are indeed critical, there are many other facets to mankind’s impact on our planet that are often neglected and desperately need our attention. We are all motivated for different reasons. Some are driven by deep commitments to critical issues like global warming and anthropogenic climate change. Others are motivated by a conviction to reduce the supply chain's overall contribution to pollution or they believe their companies should play a more significant role in the circular economy. Ultimately it is the what we are doing that is most important. Building, growing, and improving collaborative relationships should be a part of every companies long-term commitment to helping their customers.
