Thanks to Solar & Storage Live Australia for their focus on the battery and solar circular economy. Discussion of end of life management should be part of every expo and conference - it's critical that we recover the valuable materials and support safe reuse and repurposing. The ABRI session on the battery circular economy was full 😀 Clearly there is an interest in sustainability and circularity. ABRI looks forward to continuing the discussion with everyone who followed up on the presentation and shared insights on how to accelerate the battery circular economy and bring investment opportunities to Australia. The list is long - energy storage manufacturers, installers, EV battery repurpose startups, renewable energy infrastructure investors, plastics recyclers, Trade and Investment Queensland and the list goes on.
