Designing high-rise luxury residential towers that complement, enhance, and respect surrounding communities is a priority for us. At Page, we carefully consider site surroundings, taking note of local historic structures and the character of nearby neighborhoods and integrating features that blend and balance naturally with the existing built environment. Our design at the 35-story, 283-unit Luminary in downtown Austin, showcases that approach: the facade will have a mix of brick and glass, arches will vary in scale to integrate with surroundings, sidewalks will be wide in keeping with the city’s Great Streets plan, 22,000-sf of outdoor space created, and ground-level, covered porches will provide shaded, open-air respite to the public. We’re delighted to collaborate with Northland Living to bring this project to life for Austin. Currently moving through the city's development review process, when built, Urbanspace Real Estate will lead the marketing of these sensational residences. #HighRiseDesign #LuxuryResidential #DesignLed #architecture

The design presented in this image is strikingly imaginative, featuring twin skyscrapers with a form that mimics a gateway or portal, framing the CN Tower. The towers' design integrates layered terraces with lush greenery, creating a vertical landscape that brings nature into the urban context. This suggests a vision for architecture that harmonizes with the environment, promoting sustainability and green living spaces within the cityscape. The curvature and hollow center of the buildings form a distinctive silhouette against the skyline, potentially becoming an iconic feature of the city. This design could symbolize openness and welcome, making it a fitting gateway to the city. Additionally, the integration of the natural elements on the facades presents a blueprint for future high-rise developments that aim to enhance the quality of urban life through biophilic design. This architectural concept would likely draw attention and interest for its innovative approach to skyscraper design.

The design depicted is innovative and visually striking. The circular form harmoniously wraps around the CN Tower, creating a dialogue between the new structure and the historic landmark. The curvature of the buildings frames the Tower, offering what would likely be exceptional views both from the inside looking out and from the exterior cityscape. The layering of the floors adds a dynamic rhythm to the façade, while the top levels, which appear to house amenities like pools and gardens, offer an oasis in the sky. The use of glass on the lower levels provides transparency and lightness to the substantial form above. For integration within Toronto's skyline, this design is bold and ambitious, potentially becoming a new icon in the city. It balances modern architectural trends with the need to respect and complement existing landmarks. Rating: 4.5/5 - It's a future-forward design that respects the CN Tower's prominence while promising functionality and an enhanced urban experience. Deductions might come from potential challenges in execution and the need for a detailed environmental impact assessment.

When I look at projects like this I realize that even after 40 plus years I’m still a rookie at best.
Miami is about to get a new skyscraper. Designed by KPF, the 193-metre (635-foot) Tower 36 will offer "ultra-luxury office space" complete with dramatic views of Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. The building’s podium is set to include retail space on the ground floor, bicycle and car parking for tenants, and a restaurant on its landscaped roof. In a statement KPF Design Principal Robert Whitlock explained: “Our design for Tower 36 draws inspiration from its site adjacent to Biscayne Bay and the causeway, as well as Miami’s culture of design embodied in the nearby Design District. The architectural language of the tower utilizes an elegant, tapered form, sculpted to reveal outdoor terrace floors in a geometry that conveys a sense of activity and motion". #construction #architecture #engineering #skyscraper #miami

The design concept here is of two towering skyscrapers with a twisted, sculptural form that creates a sense of motion and fluidity. The buildings are staggered in height and feature horizontal bands that give the appearance of floors stacked with slight rotations. These rotations create terraces that are richly vegetated, making the structures resemble vertical forests that could contribute positively to the urban ecosystem and provide green space for residents or workers. The use of glass in the façade reflects the sky and the surrounding environment, which helps the buildings blend with the skyline despite their impressive stature. The base is broad and appears to be a communal area with ample lighting, suggesting a mixed-use space that could include retail, public spaces, and waterfront amenities. This concept could be aimed at sustainability and creating a microclimate to combat urban heat, while also offering a new architectural landmark. It embodies a forward-thinking approach to high-density living and working environments, where the quality of space and the inclusion of nature are prioritized.

A 5100 sq. ft. residence nestled in the heart of a vibrant colony. Our approach to this project has been about redefining living spaces. We've internalized each area, creating distinct zones within the house to evoke unique experiences for the residents. One of the standout features is the use of locally sourced rubble stone in the cladding. This not only adds a sense of rootedness to the design but also reflects our commitment to sustainable architecture. The stone's texture and earthy tones create a warm and inviting facade that harmonizes with its surroundings. Another key design element is the reinterpretation of the traditional Himachali roof. We've taken this time-honored architectural element and given it a modern twist, transforming it into a striking geometric form that not only serves functional purposes but also adds a touch of contemporary elegance. As you move through this residence, you'll notice how each zone has a distinct character and purpose, making the living experience here truly exceptional. Modernity meets tradition, where thoughtful design enhances daily life. #ResidentialDesign #ArchitecturalInnovation #LocalMaterials #ModernGeometry #HimachaliRoof #InteriorZones #SustainableLiving #spacesbyarc #arc #7arc
