✨ The power of purposeful presence ✨ I'm exhausted after an intense four day onsite summit with colleagues from all over the globe. I say intense because of the sheer amount of things we accomplished this week, together in person. We had three separate tracks running in parallel, looking at our top priorities for 2025 and collaboratively aligning on our opportunities across engineering, product, supply chain, and operations. We were also able to include partners in sales, finance and legal to build robust perspectives of our problems and opportunities. We spent time: 🤔Sitting in the problem space with our customers 🧐 Sitting in the problem space with our partners 🚀 Doing a gap analysis of our launch processes 📣 Discussing customer communication opportunities 👩🔬 Learning about application of new technologies 💰 Resource planning 🤝 Relationship building 😂 Laughing 🍔 🥂 Eating and Drinking 🎳 Bowling 💙 Making memories While it was exhausting, it was all the best things about being together in person and I'm ending my week feeling like my cup is full, even though I'm drained. Most of our teams are remote and it's coming together periodically like this enable us to continuously find ways of engaging each other and improving the ways we work together. 💪

This is such an exciting partnership with the opportunity to scale an empathy led approach to building leadership through the ever changing tides of technology and culture. Bravo! 👏
Over the past five years, Certified Dare to Lead Facilitators have taken over 120,000 people across 45 countries through our Dare to Lead program. Our evaluation data are clear — this courage-building work has a tremendous impact on individuals, teams, and organizations. Like all leaders, I’ve been working to understand how to meet this once-in-a-lifetime moment of sweeping global change. I started searching for a partner who shares our values and is bravely innovating at the intersection of technology and human transformation. I stopped looking when I found BetterUp. Today, we are announcing a partnership with BetterUp to launch the Daring Leadership Institute, a first-of-its-kind integration that brings our empirically based, courage-building curriculum together with BetterUp’s human transformation platform. I’m so proud to chair the new institute and join their science board. As new technologies, chronic uncertainty, and ever-shifting markets continue to reshape industries and redefine the future of work, we need to develop skill sets, mindsets, toolsets, and systems that support feedback cultures, reward critical and anticipatory thinking, and foster deep collaboration and inclusivity. Additionally, we need to embrace new and uncomfortable ways of working that will feel paradoxical in many ways — like learning how to be both very focused and very agile, how to move with urgency and thoughtfulness, how to lead by excavating the unsaid rather than expending energy working around it. Our new collaboration will allow us to bring these skill and mindset transformations to organizations in measurable and meaningful ways. It’s a game-changer! Since meeting Eddie Medina and Alexi Robichaux a couple of years ago, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know BetterUp and the larger team, and I’ve been blown away. I’m proud that the Daring Leadership Institute at BetterUp is where we’re going to develop and deliver all of my leadership work. I believe with my whole heart that, together, we can develop braver leaders and more courageous cultures around the world. Let’s go! Yesterday, I experienced a first in my career yesterday - orientation in the morning for my first day on the job, and a presentation later in the day to the executive team. 😊 I'm excited to announce that I have joined the scrappy, fun and smart team at SquareTrade as VP, Global Program Management, to continuously deliver incredible value through our partners across the world to customers who want seamless, reliable protection for the products that matter to them. A little more than a year ago, I did a "Future Pull" exercise with my Chief core group. It was a brainstorming session listing everything I wanted to be true in my life one year from that day. I pulled it out in late January and realized that all the things I had jotted down about how I wanted my future to be were true with one of the clients I was working with, SquareTrade. Here are a few from that list: 💃 I am living a healthy, energetic life 🌎 I have balance that enables me to show up as the person I want to be in the world 😎 I feel comfortable showing up as who I am 🕵♀️ I'm solving hard problems creatively ✊ I am feeling the benefits of working on a diverse, high performing team 📈 I make and impact on people with the work I deliver and the way I deliver it I began to work with this team as a consultant last year to help accelerate the transformation of the product portfolio and annual planning processes. It has been so awesome to get to know this team and to collaborate together on how to improve the ways we work. The PMO team is an incredible pool of diverse, high performers, who are also really good people on top of that. It has been such an honor to lead them on an interim basis since August of last year, and now officially as I step into this new role! 😍 In addition to leading Global Program Management, I'm also overseeing an incredibly bold, innovative global initiative for the company. This initiative will transform the way we seamlessly serve our customers into the future and I'm very excited to be a part of it and work across the globe with incredible colleagues I have had the benefit of getting to know through my consulting. Let's Go!
