A proactive approach to workplace safety can save lives. But we've noticed a concerning trend: ❗Many organizations don’t implement company-wide CPR training until after a crisis strikes. And we get it! CPR training often falls to the back burner due to scheduling conflicts, a lack of resources, or the assumption that someone else will be around to handle an emergency. Don’t wait for an emergency to act. Instead, be ready for an emergency and reduce the likelihood of casualties by preparing for an event before it happens. Very compelling article. “About half of respondents say there isn't enough time for training” This is the tagline when you open the article, and quite frankly, it’s absurd… understaffing and complexity of health and safety regulations are said to be contributing factors in this recent survey. We need to envision a future where workplace safety is paramount, where every employee receives comprehensive training upon onboarding, ensuring they're equipped to perform their job duties safely. Only then, can we narrow down and isolate the reasons in which injuries and accidents happen in the workplace. The first step is training, and more needs to be done to ensure this initial and most crucial step to safety in the workplace.
