This is fantastic news! Delhi’s skies could be getting cleaner with a revolutionised, clean energy transport system in the works. On 26th September, Delhi witnessed the historic launch of India’s first ever (from a fleet of 15) green hydrogen powered bus marked by the presence of Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. This was made possible by the collaboration of IndianOil Corporation and Tata Motors, where IndianOil has ensured a steady supply of Green Hydrogen from a newly established facility in Faridabad. At this facility, renewable energy is used to perform electrolysis on water molecules to create 75 kg of Green Hydrogen every day. Could this be the next big thing? Wow!!! This is a brilliant innovation! And getting launched in public transport can have a much larger impact than it would have in passenger transport
