Palantir Technologies’ Post

“An LLM is much like Michelangelo: if you give him a toothpick and a block of marble, he will go nowhere. The Ontology is the chisel.” Francisco Parga discussed with Chad Wahlquist how Palantir AIP powers supply chain operations and enables businesses to overcome their previous obstacles to deploying AI. https://lnkd.in/e9RUPGGP

Terrific interview guys. Provides more granularity on the process in the trenches. Thx

LLM it if you don't like reliable and reproducible data. LLM it if your architecture is no where near ASE's. LLM it if your client doesn't know any better.

Reminds me of the 1980's with Tom Peters and Robert Waterman's book, In Search of Excellence which propagated Management By Walking Around (MBWA). That certainly fell away in the 90's. With AIP and Palantir it will come back full force with AI continuously 'walking around'. :)

Abel Sanchez 'Michelangelo' LLM uses ontology as chisel :) I wonder which LLM is 'Michelangelo', and which ontology is its favorite go-to chisel? Enquiring minds would like to know ;)
